Microsoft releases Lumia 550 smartphone

Back in October of this year Microsoft promised we would soon have the Lumia 550 – an affordable smartphone that runs Windows 10 Mobile. Well, the US company has kept its promise and now you can purchase the device in Europe and the US with more markets coming soon.

The Lumia 550 comes in a variety of colors and features a removable polycarbonate back cover. The smartphone comes with a 4.7-inch 720p display, a Snapdragon 210 processor with four cores inside at 1.1 GHz, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal memory that can be expanded and a 2100 mAh battery. In addition to this the device has support for 4G LTE, a 5 MP main camera with f/2.4 lens, a 2 MP front camera and finally it runs Windows 10 Mobile as mentioned above.

The new Microsoft Lumia 550 sells for USD 139.99 now.
