Kodak’s new Playfull and Playsport pocket video cameras

Kodak today introduced two new additions to its pocket video camera portfolio – the slim Kodak Playfull camcorder and the next generation of shockproof, dustproof and waterproof Kodak Playsport camera.

The Kodak Playfull offers full 1080p HD video or 5 MP stills and still fits in the pocket of your jeans. It has built-in digital image stabilization, the included on-camera editing lets you trim and extract still pictures from video and there are also four capture effects on the camcorder that allow you to shoot with high saturation, sepia tones, black & white, or a 70’s film look. The camera comes with an SD/SDHC card slot, HDMI cable, and a built-in USB arm for $149.95 in silver, blue-silver, purple-silver and blue-black.

The next generation of Kodak Playsport($179.95) video camera is still waterproof up to 10 feet and now is also shockproof and dustproof to withstand dirt, dust and sand. It offers full 1080p HD video or 5 MP stills with auto-focus and digital image stabilization and also packs the  Share Button for easily share them with your social network. Other features included are underwater white balance mode, face tracking and the effects which  are also found on the Kodak PlayFull. It has has a 2-inch LCD with Glare Shield, SD/SDHC card slot, built-in USB and Li-Ion battery.
