ASUS starts sales of Zenbook UX302 ultrabook

ASUS has started the sales of its latest 13.3-inch ultrabook – the Zenbook UX302. The new company product comes with a metallic chassis that is available in blue or white and measures 325 x 226 x 17.2 mm for total weight of 1.45 kilograms.

The Zenbook UX302 will please its potential buyers with a 13.3-inch sensor IPS display that works at Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels). The display is capable of recognizing up to 10 simultaneous touches and is protected by Gorilla Glass 3 technology. Inside the Zenbook UX302 packs the latest and greatest by Intel – Core i5-4200U or Core i7-4500U processors on the Haswell architecture, integrated graphics that can be upgraded to a NVIDIA GeForce GT 730M graphics card with Optimus technology and more. The ultrabook comes with 2 GB or 4 GB of DDR3L-1600 memory, a hybrid 750 GB hard drive with 16 GB of cache, 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 3.0 ports, a mini-DisplayPort, HDMI, a SonicMaster sound system and more. A 50 watt-hour battery powers the device.

The Zenbook UX302 comes with Windows 8 or Windows 8 Pro. The new ultrabook will be in stores around the world on December 20 with the pricing starting at USD 1698 for the Core i5 model and going up to USD 1998 for the Core i7 offering.
