Colorful has small-sized GeForce GTX 960 card

In the past few months the video card market has seen several GeForce GTX 970 solutions which offer the full feature set and power of NVIDIA’s GTX 970 technology in a smaller form factor. This might sound strange but it has its benefits – you can use the latest Maxwell technology in video cards that fit anywhere and emit less heat.

Colorful Technology has paid attention to this new trend and has announced the new GeForce GTX 960 BURI-Mini graphics card. True, this is not a GTX 970 model, but you can still enjoy Maxwell technology in a small-sized video card. The new card is just 168 mm long and can be easily installed in small ITX and mATX computer cases.

The GTX 960 BURI-Mini video card comes with 2 GB of GDDR5 memory on-board and a 5-phase VRM. The GPU inside the card is cooled by a small-sized Colorful-designed cooler that features two 8 mm and one 6 mm heat pipes. The card runs at 1127 MHz for the GPU and 7010 MHz for the memory in the so-called power efficiency mode; during load the clock speed of the GPU rises to 1152 MHz, while the memory stays at the same 7010 MHz.

The price of the new Colorful GeForce GTX 960 BURI-Mini is unknown but the card might be an excellent solution for gamers who have small PC cases.
