Scythe to start sales of Iori CPU cooler

Scythe, a company known for making various PC components and coolers, will soon start the official sales of the Iori CPU cooler (aka SCIOR-1000). The new model measures 107 x 136 x 117 mm and weighs 400 grams.

The Iori comes with an aluminum heatsink, a 100 mm cooling fan and three copper heat pipes. The fan spins at up to 1800 rpm pushing up to 43 cubic meters of air in a single day. As to noise the Scythe Iori carries some with it making up to 26.7 dBa. As expected the cooler is totally compatible with all modern Intel and AMD processors going as far as year 2006. This means the cooler comes with support for Intel LGA775/1150/1155/1156/1366/2011 processors as well as AMD AM2/AM2+/AM3/AM3+/FM1/FM2 chips.

Scythe asks for USD 35 for the Iori CPU cooler.
