Android-Based Dell Streak Launching on O2

Dell Streak Launching on O2 FirstO2 and Dell announced today that the Dell Streak will launch next month exclusively on O2. The Dell Streak is perfect for consumers who are looking for a “big screen” experience without having to carry a notebook around. The Dell Streak offers access to the internet, entertainment, and thousands of Android Applications.

The Dell Streak features a five megapixel camera, a fast processor, and a built in Wi-Fi. The Dell Streak can also connect easily to a range of social networks.

The Portable Device will be available in early June through the online stores of O2 at o2.co.uk and carphonewarehouse.com.

General Manager of Devices at O2, Steve Alder, said that the Dell Streak is a bold new class of product. He also said that it is something they wanted to bring to their customers first, and that this means that they can continue to offer their customers a range of the very best devices to make their lives a bit easier.

President of Dell Communication Solutions Group, Ron Garriques, explained that the Dell Streak hits the sweet spot between traditional smartphones and larger-screen tablets. He also said that its unique size provides people new ways to enjoy, connect and navigate their lives.

The experience of the Dell Streak will be enhances by O2’s intelligent network, great value tariffs and award winning customer service, which includes O2 Gurus in O2 retail stores and smartphone specialists in customers service which will help customers get the most out of every other product and service.

The price of the device will be released ahead of launch.
