Toshiba launches personal cloud device

In case you travel a lot and want to access your files and information easily anywhere then Toshiba may have something just for you – a personal cloud device named Canvio External Cloud.

The Toshiba Canvio External Cloud is actually an external hard drive with cloud software and comes in 2 TB and 3 TB capacities. Toshiba also provides all the necessary software to control your personal cloud device and access its files anywhere in the world given you have an Internet connection.

The Canvio External Cloud will become available next month. The 2 TB model will cost 220 USD, while the 3 TB device will sell for 250 USD.
